The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a quality teacher to work at our Berrow Primary Church Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us on our journey to becoming a great school.

Berrow has wonderful children who are really keen to learn and supportive families who work closely with the school. The school has a dedicated, caring staff team who work creatively, in partnership with other schools across our Trust, to enable children to achieve great outcomes. We place great emphasis on supporting children on a social and emotional level and have a strong ethos of inclusion and belonging in line with our Church vision and values.

We are part of The Priory Learning Trust, comprising of local primary and secondary schools, enabling us to work closely with a range of practitioners from all phases of education. This is a very exciting time for Berrow and a fantastic time to join us.

We are looking for a teacher to join us for a full time post from September 2024. An understanding of Read, Write Inc would be advantageous.

The amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are ‘protected’ and are not subject to disclosure to employers, and cannot be taken into account. This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
